Terms and Conditions – Solis Lawn Care

1. Services
Solis Lawn Care agrees to provide lawn care, landscaping, and seasonal services as outlined in the approved estimate, quote, or service agreement. Any services not specifically listed are excluded and may be subject to additional charges.

2. Estimates and Pricing
All estimates are based on a visual inspection and available information at the time of quoting. Final pricing may vary due to unforeseen conditions, including hidden obstacles, excessive overgrowth, debris, or changes in scope. Clients will be notified and must approve any additional charges before work proceeds.

3. Scheduling and Property Access
Clients must provide safe and unobstructed access to the property. This includes unlocking gates, securing pets, and clearing debris, toys, furniture, or obstacles from service areas. Solis Lawn Care is not responsible for missed services due to restricted access.

4. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. For recurring services, invoices may be issued weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.

Late payments are subject to:

  • A 5% late fee after 7 days

  • An additional 2% monthly interest on overdue balances

Solis Lawn Care reserves the right to suspend services until outstanding balances are paid in full. The client is responsible for any costs associated with collections, including legal or administrative fees.

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a service. Failure to provide notice may result in a cancellation fee. Services may be rescheduled by Solis Lawn Care due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.

6. Lawn Maintenance Contracts (Recurring Services)
For weekly or bi-weekly lawn maintenance:

  • Services will continue automatically unless cancelled with at least 7 days’ notice

  • Missed visits due to weather may be rescheduled based on availability

  • Grass height beyond manageable levels due to skipped services may incur additional charges

7. Snow Removal Services
For snow removal contracts:

  • Service is triggered based on agreed snowfall depth (e.g., 2 cm, 5 cm, etc.)

  • Timing of service may vary depending on snowfall intensity and route scheduling

  • During heavy or continuous snowfall, multiple visits may be required and may be billed accordingly unless otherwise stated in the agreement

  • Clients are responsible for marking driveway edges, obstacles, and hazards prior to the season

  • Solis Lawn Care is not responsible for slippery conditions; salting/sanding must be explicitly included in the service agreement

8. Property Conditions & Damage Waiver
Clients must clearly mark:

  • Sprinkler heads

  • Invisible fences

  • Landscape lighting

  • Garden borders and hidden objects

Solis Lawn Care is not liable for damage to unmarked or concealed items.

Mowing and trimming services carry inherent risks. By accepting service, the client acknowledges:

  • Debris may be projected during mowing

  • Minor damage to turf, edging, or surrounding areas may occur during normal operations

9. Satisfaction Guarantee and Claims
Clients must report any service issues within 48 hours of completion. Solis Lawn Care will make reasonable efforts to correct any verified issues but does not guarantee plant or lawn health due to factors beyond control (weather, pests, soil conditions, etc.).

10. Additional Work
Any services requested beyond the agreed scope must be approved by the client and may result in additional charges.

11. Weather Conditions
Services may be delayed or rescheduled due to unsafe or unsuitable weather conditions. Solis Lawn Care will communicate any changes as soon as possible.

12. Termination of Services
Either party may terminate service with reasonable notice (minimum 7 days for recurring services). All outstanding balances must be paid immediately upon termination.

13. Limitation of Liability
Solis Lawn Care shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Liability is limited to the value of the services provided.

14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Province of  Michigan

15. Acceptance of Terms
By accepting an estimate, scheduling services, or making payment, the client agrees to these Terms and Conditions in full.
